As he has had the disease for years and has regressed into childhood, he remembers practically nothing from his adult life. His music, friends, all his past including the memory of his daughter are a blur in his fragile mind. All he has left is the imagination of a ten year old boy. \nReleased for the first time in the US, \u201cImaginaerum\u201d is a musical fantasy film written by Nightwish keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen and the film\u2019s director, Stobe Harju. Developed with and featuring the music of Nightwish, \u201cImaginaerum\u201d is the story\u00a0of Thomas Whitman, a 75-year-old musician who lapses into a coma after years of suffering from dementia. Thomas enters a\u00a0fantasy world where he relives his life as a ten-year-old orphan.<\/p>\n
Since the band\u2019s inception in 1996, Nightwish have released nine full length releases, sold millions of records world-wide, and\u00a0become one of the most popular female-fronted, symphonic metal bands of all time.
